Famous personalities, including La La Anthony, Natalia’s family, and Sabrina Ionescu, posted their appreciation for Natalia’s fashion style. Ionescu posted a series of heart-eyes emojis.

Sabrina Ionescu’s bond with Kobe Bryant and his family was built on mentorship, respect, and a shared love for basketball. She first met Kobe while playing at Oregon, where his daughter, Gigi Bryan,t admired her game and wanted to watch her play.

Kobe quickly became a mentor to Ionescu, offering guidance and encouragement as she developed into one of the most dominant college players in history. Their relationship extended beyond basketball, with Kobe instilling his Mamba Mentality in her, shaping her approach to competition and leadership.

Even after Kobe’s tragic passing in January 2020, Ionescu remained deeply connected to his family and legacy. She delivered an emotional speech at his memorial service, reflecting on their friendship and the lessons he imparted.

Sabrina Ionescu Promotes “Short Memory” Mentality for The Liberty

With the pressure of being the 2024 WNBA Champions, Sabrian Ionescu and the New York Liberty wanted to promote what they call a “short memory” mentality that would help them stay on their feet and stay focused on their goal.

“It’s having that short memory of wanting to be the best and never settling,” Ionescu said, via The New York Post. “And I think everyone on the team understands when we came here. when we kind of suit up especially now, and not take any of these days for granted because it’s a new season.”

“The mentality is turning the page,” Breanna Stewart added. “We had a lot of time to celebrate it and now it’s building to be better. We talked about being consistently great night in and night out and that starts with building great habits and training camp.”

“That’s the key thing,” Liberty coach Sandy Brondello said. “It’s not about repeating. With this hard thing, we gotta evolve. So that’s what we’re focused on. How do we do that? Individually, collectively, all of us.”
