Even though he’s busy because of the 2024 Olympics, San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama still has time for recreation. Turns out, though, that there’s one movie he can watch forever and it’s a choice that will have a lot of fans intrigued.
The French basketball phenom began his professional career with Nanterre 92 in 2019 at just 15 years old. After two seasons with Nanterre, he joined ASVEL in 2021 and won the French Pro A championship in his only season with the team.
In the 2022-23 season, Wembanyama signed with Metropolitans 92. At 19 years old, he became the youngest player to win the Pro A MVP award, also earning Best Defender honors and leading the league in scoring, rebounds, and blocks. He was named to the LNB All-Star team twice, winning the All-Star Game MVP once, and was a three-time Pro A Best Young Player.
Wemby’s dominance on both ends of the floor made him one of the most highly-touted prospects in basketball history. In the 2023 NBA Draft, he was selected 1st overall by the Spurs. He had an historic first year in the league after being named NBA Rookie of the Year, finishing 2nd in Defensive Player of the Year voting, and becoming the first rookie ever named to the All-Defensive First Team.
At 7’4″ tall, Wembanyama’s combination of size, skill, and athleticism has drawn comparisons to NBA legends. His professional career is just beginning, but he has already established himself as a transformative talent poised to dominate the league for years to come.

2005’s Revenge of the Sith was the last entry into the Prequel Saga. It saw Anakin Skywalker’s fall from grace during the Galactic Civil War and how it led to George Lucas’ Original Trilogy that was released in 1977.
Given time, there’s no doubt Wemby will watch this film at any chance he gets. However, he still has to lead France in the Olympics to bring home the gold for his country first.
