It is the NBA offseason, but it doesn’t mean San Antonio Spurs star big man Victor Wembanyama is resting at home and kicking it back. In fact, Wembanyama is busy preparing with Team France for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics.
On Wednesday, Wembanyama absolutely dominated in France’s 96-46 victory over Turkey in an exhibition matchup. He went off for 23 points to go with six rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and two steals. He shot 10/14 from the floor and he did all that in only 20 minutes of action.
That was all the time Wemby needed to show Turkey that he’s just on a different level. A 50-point blowout by France that was made possible largely because of the 7-4 youngster who just turned 20 last January.
San Antonio Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama has the internet stunned
“Turkey shot 1-24 FG when Victor Wembanyama was on the court today 🤯 Wemby finished with 24 PTS, 6 REB, 4 AST, 3 BLK, 2 STL, 10-14 FG and +44 in 20 mins. France won 96-46. Pure dominance,” posted @bballforever_.
