LeBron James’ wife Savannah James is undeniably devoted to her children. The wife of the four-time NBA champion and LA Lakers star has balanced a lot of things while raising and supporting her kids, especially in their sports endeavors.
Savannah recently posted a video of her daughter Zhuri playing volleyball on Instagram. Savannah James was up early at 6 a.m. on Sunday to accompany her daughter and sit courtside to watch her play.
“Back at it, in a new way!! 6am start this beautiful Sunday… Let’s go Zhuri!!” said the caption to her Instagram post.

Savannah James’ post was noticed by three-time WNBA champion Candace Parker, who went to her comments section to “welcome her fellow ‘volleyball mom’ to the club.”
“[Yeah, you are] a volleyball mom! Welcome! It’s not for the weak… early starts ALWAYS,” said Parker.
Like Savannah’s daughter, Parker’s daughter Lailaa also plays high school volleyball. In an interview with Essence last year, Parker said that she would follow and support Lailaa’s career path after her retirement.
Savannah James hopes her children make it to the Olympics
LeBron James has represented Team USA four times in the Olympics, winning three gold medals and a bronze. His wife Savannah is hoping to someday visit another country hosting the Olympics with her children participating.
On the Nov. 19 episode of her “Everybody’s Crazy” podcast, Savannah talked about the time she and her family traveled to Paris to watch LeBron participate in the Olympics for the last time.
“Looking at the fact that this would be the last time that we would have an experience where their dad would be playing in the Olympics or anybody,” Savannah said. “Until maybe Bronny gets called up, or Bryce gets called up, or maybe even Zhuri playing volleyball. But yeah, that’s the last time for a while. We’ll be spectators up until then.”
Savannah’s eldest son Bronny is already in the NBA, but he’s still struggling to get a spot in the Lakers’ regular lineup. Meanwhile, her second son Bryce will be eligible for the 2026 NBA Draft, and her daughter Zhuri Nova is currently looking to impress with her volleyball skills.
LeBron James traveled with his team to different countries, bringing his family along as he went on his quest to win Olympic gold for his country. With his last Olympics done, his wife Savannah is hoping that their children follow his footsteps and become Olympic representatives themselves in the future, so that they can have more opportunities to travel around the world.
