Savannah James, wife of LeBron James, recently appeared in ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ along with her BFF April McDaniel. The two are much more than friends, and are even business partners and have been hosting a podcast ‘Everybody’s Crazy’ for the last couple of years. Barrymore and the two BFFs discussed a number of topics on the show, including McDaniel’s surprising relationship with popular singer Adele.
What not a lot of people know is that Adele has actually dedicated one of her albums to McDaniel. While the name ‘April’ was mentioned in the back of one of her albums, fans of Adele did not understand who the person actually is. Apparently, April McDaniel helped Adele through a tough part of her life, which only strengthened their relationship.
“Working out at the gym, and she was working out. I take more of a playful approach to working out, so I like a lot of breaks. So, she was annoyed at my breaks. She was like, ‘If you’re not going to take this seriously, why are you here? I was like, ‘Who are you?’ And then, after months, we finally, like, connected, and then we went out to dinner and it was all she wrote.” April McDaniel said on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show.’
Adele also has a very strong connection to the NBA itself, having married Rich Paul who is LeBron James’ agent. The singer has also been courtside in a number of basketball games, and even managed to get on a meme of her looking smug at one of the games.
