Serena Williams turned heads at her seventh Met Gala appearance, stunning onlookers with a dazzling ensemble. The tennis legend’s striking look drew admiration from Inside the NBA hosts Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal, who admired her outfit during Tuesday’s episode.
Williams wore a pale blue gown with an off-shoulder decolletage partnered with a long, shimmering blue skirt. A long, light blue cape, accompanied by luxury brand Moncler’s puffer, complemented the stunning gown, adding an ethereal touch to the ensemble.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion’s striking ensemble resulted from a collaboration between her, fashion editor Edward Enninful, and Moncler, culminating in a custom Moncler x EE72 gown.
NBA on TNT shared Barkley and O’Neal’s rating of the outfits of some of the Met Gala attendees on Instagram. When they saw Serena Williams’ outfit, the former commended and rated it with a perfect 10/10.
“Serena Williams, man, she looks great,” Barkley said. “That looks like one of those modern movie stars from back in the 50s, 60s, or 70s. You look great, Serena.”
