Shareef O’Neal, son of basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal, recently took to social media the details of his father’s grand car “giveaway” competition.
In partnership with Effortless Motors, Shaw has opened up a competition looking for anyone who can help him pick the color for a two-door Lamborghini truck. The lucky winner would get the chance to get the truck they would have designed for one week before Shaq himself even gets a hand on it.
“I want you and the fans to design me a two-door Lambo truck. A two-door Lambo truck. And whatever fan lets you design it the best, I’ll let them borrow it for a week,” Shaq said, followed by the contest mechanics.
As a man standing at more than 7 feet, finding a car that could fit him has always been a problem for Shaquille O’Neal. Just recently, Effortless Motors gifted Shaq a customized Tesla Cybeerturck that was modifgied to fit his size.
“Effortless Motors has gifted [Shaq] the rare 1/100 Waido wide body 360 kit, topped off with stunning 26-inch Forgiatos!,” they said over their social media post. “This ride is an absolute masterpiece, and we can’t wait to see it hit the streets!”
Shaquille O’Neal’s Car Collection: A Massive 40 Cars?
Shaquille O’Neal being an impulsive spender is no longer a new story. In an old interview, Shaq shared how he had “the biggest purchase in Walmart” history, amounting to $70,00 in a single receipt, which prompted his bank to block his credit card for the purchase, as it raised alarms on their side. However, Shaq confirms it was him and he was indeed making that huge amount of a purchase.
When it comes to cars, it is no shock that a legend like Shaquille O’Neal would have his collection of expensive rides. In a newer interview over at WNBA superstar Angel Reese’s podcast, “Unapologetically Angel.” When asked if lets women go through his phone, Shaq said no, but gave a reason that shocked listeners.
Turns out, the reason no one could go through his phone is that he hides his phone randomly in his collection of 40 cars. “It ain’t locked ’cause it’s called other phone in one of my other cars I got 40 cars if you figure out which car my other phone is in, you can go through it, but you’re not,” he confessed.
After retiring from professional basketball in 2011, Shaquille O’Neal went on to become a basketball analyst, a DJ, and an entrepreneur. He is also known for his philanthropy and occasional gift-giving to needy people.
