Skip Bayless is currently facing serious accusations of sexual harassment and workplace misconduct, with the plaintiff even alleging he had offered at least $1.5 million for sex. While a lot of people find these allegations troubling, some are hearing enough alarm bells to cast doubts on the legitimacy of the claims.
In one of the recent episodes of the PBD Podcast, co-host shared his honest thoughts on the issue, highlighting how the amount alleged does not make sense to him, calling it a “literal joke.”
“I mean maybe that’s 500 bucks,” Sosnick said jokingly when flashed with the photo of the lawsuit plaintiff. “If you’re going to pay for anything like this these are one thousand [dollar] transactions. To pay $1.5 million? This is a settlement for whatever alleged sexual misconduct you did. To offer to pay $1.5 million, in my humble opinion, that’s a literal joke. If [Skip Bayless] actually wanted to get and have to pay for something, if this is something that he was so desperate that he needed to do [it], a couple thousand bucks [would] to do the trick.”
Sosnick then referenced one case faced by President-elect Donald Trump of a similar nature, calling it all just “a rape fantasy.”
“You know [what] we learned with the E. Jean Caroll [and Donald Trump] thing? How much he ended up having to pay her? Millions. And he didn’t even touch the woman, it was all rape fantasy, wasn’t it?”
“On one hand, there’s believe all women, I get it, and on the other hand, there’s women who lie,” Sosnick added. “So I’m hesitant to believe this.”

Patrick Bet-David echoed the sentiment of Sosnick, as he also doubted the legitimacy of the claim. For him, however, what made it unbelievable was the amount allegedly offered versus Skip Bayless’ net worth.

“So this person writes a lawsuit like this one claiming that Skip offered her $1.5 million,” Bet-David said. “I don’t know who in the right mind believes that, I don’t know who would believe that for $1.5 million. It’s not like this is a person who has that kind of money. You think he’s going to give 10% [of his net worth]?”
The internet is currently reporting Skip Bayless to have a net worth of $17 million, making the alleged offer for sex to be around a tenth of his total net worth.
