Sports analyst Skip Bayless is currently facing legal woes, mainly centered on allegations of Sexual harassment against a former Fox Sports 1 hairstylist that he allegedly offered a huge amount of money in exchange for sex. A female journalist gave her honest opinion on the matter, particularly why it is challenging for women to thrive in the sports industry.
In a recent episode of the Stephen A. Smith Show, news anchor and journalist Tori Cooper shared how the allegations of sexual harassment surrounding Skip Bayless and FS1 hairstylist Noushin Faraji reminded her of why he left the sports industry.
“So there are a number of different allegations as you come through the suit that are alarming and then the silencing behavior that allegedly took place.,” she said.
“Unfortunately, Stephen, in this world that we live in—I mean it’s one of the reasons why I left the sports industry initially because I felt like I was people were flirting with me and not taking my perspective or my preparation seriously when I would show up to interview them because it’s hard to get past your looks.”
“And as you saw, she’s an absolutely beautiful woman, you know, so that’s just it’s the unfortunate reality that the sports world is that world but it’s not just in sports, it’s in [the] news, too.”

Stephen A. Smith: “It’s Not The Skip Bayless I Know”
Stephen A. Smith, a former colleague of Skip Bayless, gave his honest thoughts on the legal issues that the “undisputed” host is currently facing.
Stephen A. talked about “the Skip Bayless I know,” highlighting how his years with Skip made the news of the allegations a shock.
“I think it’s incredibly dicey and irresponsible for people who don’t know to act like they do know. But in the same breath, I also feel it’s important that if you’ve had a longstanding relationship with those people, it’s not a crime for you to say the person that I know [and] imagining him being in this kind of position is shocking, to say the least.”
“All I could tell you is that it’s not the Skip Bayless I know. But obviously, this is a legal matter. He’s going to have to deal with [it] because this situation doesn’t appear to be going away.”
Skip Bayless has not commented on the matter, though he has posted a new video on YouTube, which fans found amusing since it did not address any of the ongoing issues surrounding him.
