Sophie Cunningham, Indiana Fever guard, recently reacted to Iowa Hawkeyes’ tight end Gavin Hoffman’s transfer portal announcement. Hoffman has four remaining years of eligibility with the Hawkeyes and did not play any game in his first year with the team. Cunningham has reacted to a number of Hoffman’s posts in the past, and it was clearly expected of her to respond to this exciting one.
In his announcement message of him entering the transfer portal, Gavin Hoffman thanked many important people in his life for their contributions, starting with God. The tight end also thanked his teammates for their strong bonds and relationships created on the field.
“Hello portal 😏,” Sophie Cunningham captioned her Instagram story while sharing Hoffman’s post.

Sophie Cunningham, in a recent interview with Fox News, mentioned how excited she is to play alongside Caitlin Clark in the upcoming WNBA season. Cunningham freshly signed a deal with the Indiana Fever team after playing for the Phoenix Mercury in the previous season.
“I’m excited. I think this is a new era for myself. I got to learn a lot, learn how to become a pro. And now I get to go to Indiana to play with some of the best players around the world right now. We’ve talked quite a bit in the past couple of months since I’ve gotten traded and she’s just a good human. I think she has humor to her, she has wit to her. Everyone that I’ve talked to said that she’s a great teammate. She just wants to win, right?” Sophie Cunningham said about Caitlin Clark in the interview.
