During her interview with SI, Collier shared Unrivaled’s initiative to elevate women’s sports, highlighting its rapid popularity in recent months. She also seeks to collaborate with Steph Curry on future league projects.
“It feels great. I mean, especially because you’re just seeing the buy-in for women’s basketball and just, the power of the players,” Collier said.

“We really wanted to revolutionize what it meant to be a women’s basketball player and… hopefully creating generational wealth down the line for players is something that was always a goal of ours.”
“And to see people buying in in the way they are, other athletes from different sports, other people not even in sports. And then this recent one with Steph Curry, just seeing the buy-in and seeing the value in what we’re doing has been really awesome.”
Meanwhile, Bazzell sent fire emojis in Unrivaled’s Instagram post welcoming Steph Curry to the organization.

Steph Curry also shared his candid thoughts on supporting Unrivaled. During a media statement on Tuesday, he emphasized the significance of Unrivaled in developing women’s sports.
“I am incredibly proud to be joining the Unrivaled family as the league continues to set a new standard for how women’s professional sports should operate,” Curry said.
“Unrivaled is not just innovating the way we play basketball, but also how we value and invest in the athletes who drive the game forward.”
The Unrivaled’s debut season nearly concludes as the Laces BC, Rose BC, Vinyl BC, and Lunar Owl BC clash in the Semifinals on March 16.
Steph Curry takes on crucial position in former college team
Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry returns to his alma mater, the Davidson Wildcats, to become the assistant GM of the team this Tuesday. A standout for the team during her college stint, Curry is willing to give back to the Wildcats to bring them to the spotlight again.

Curry spent three seasons with Davidson, averaging 25.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists. He even led the NCAA during his final year, averaging 28.9 points, before being drafted in the 2009 NBA Draft.
“The Davidson experience is top notch,” Curry said in one of Davidson’s statements.
“My journey from when I got to Davidson in 2006 to now demonstrated that I had the opportunity to play basketball at the highest level, got a great education, an amazing network through the Davidson alumni and continue to wave the Davidson flag. I want very talented, high character student athletes to have that same experience.”

Steph Curry was inducted into the Wildcats’ Hall of Fame and was the only player to have their jersey, No.30, retired and uncirculated by the team. His talent never ended with college, as he rose in the NBA, winning four trophies with the Warriors and establishing himself as one of the greatest shooters ever.
