Steph Curry’s nephew, Daxon, is reportedly sick according to his mother, Sydel Curry Lee. Quite recently, Sydel Curry took to Instagram to vent her frustrations as her three-year-old son fell during soccer and then became sick. Sydel Curry married Damion Lee, who plays for the Phoenix Suns, back in 2018 and they have two kids together, a son Daxon and a daughter Daryn Alicia.
Sydel Curry is pregnant with her third child, which will be Sonya Curry’s tenth grandchild. Apparently, Sonya Curry was adamant for her daughter Sydel Curry to have one more kid, and will now be happy with the nice round number.
Meanwhile, Steph Curry is grinning after putting up a total of 26 points for the Golden State Warriors in their most recent game. However, despite scoring impressively, the team lost to the Memphis Grizzlies with a final score of 116-107. Along with 26 points, Steph Curry also grabbed four rebounds and assisted eight times.
Jonathan Kuminga put up another 20 points for the team in that game, with 11 boards, the highest for the team in this category. Andrew Wiggins also impressed with 16 points, five rebounds, and a single assist, while Dario Saric added another 13 points to the scoreboard with seven boards and a trio of assists.
Shaquille O’Neal Once Again Calls Himself ‘Black Steph Curry’
In other news, Shaquille O’Neal has drawn comparisons between himself and Steph Curry, even going to call himself ‘Black Steph Curry’ yet again. Most recently, O’Neal played a three-point shooting contest with Amari Evans, an NCAA prospect.
While the first three shots were easily done by the two on the court, Shaq missed his fourth one. But still, the Big Fella was too happy with his performance against Evans and went on to interestingly caption the video with his infamous quote.
“Had to show my two favorite young players why they call me the black Steph Curry”, O’Neal captioned the video.
This is of course not the first time Shaq has come out to describe himself with this phrase. And, even back then it was not taken well by others, especially Steph Curry’s mother, Sonya Curry. Sonya Curry went on to point out that her son is also black and thus Shaq should take up another name like ‘Dark-skinned Steph Curry’. However, the advice seems to have fallen on deaf ears, since ‘Diesel’ seems to be keen on using the original, yet infamous, phrase.
