Warriors Share Determination to Avoid “Spiraling Down” in Steph Curry’s Absence
Without a return timeline as of now, the Warriors are left to fend off opponents without their star player Steph Curry with them inside the court. For Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green, things need to be done to keep the roster’s spirits up and avoid “spiraling down.”
“We definitely need 30 back,” Jimmy Butler said earlier this week. “But we want him to be right. We’re still expected to win. We got to put out a better effort than we have the last two games. If he’s back, I think it’ll be different.”
“Get myself charged,” Green said, talking about how the Warriors can improve their defense. “Get myself charged, and lead by example as well. When I get myself charged up, everybody else will follow in line.”

Steph Curry suffered a pelvic contusion after a hard fall during a game against the Toronto Raptors earlier last week. Although the injury caused him to miss several games, an MRI revealed no structural damage, and he has been listed as questionable, as confirmed by head coach Steve Kerr.
