Stephen A. Smith never fails to hold back his words when it comes to confrontation. Smith speaks his mind, and he’s done it hundreds of times, even against some of the big stars. Smith recently spoke out against LeBron James’ son. The broadcaster thinks that James’s son is in the league only because of his father’s fandom.
As usual, Smith didn’t hold back from expressing what he feels. After Smith had spoken about James’ son, he attended the Lakers vs Knicks game at Crypto.com. Surprisingly, the NBA star walked up to Smith and confronted him about his comments on his son Bronny.
LeBron James was upset with Stephen A. Smith’s comments, and he lashed out at him.
“Yo, you gotta stop talking s**t about my son. You gotta stop f**king with my son. That’s my son. Nah f**k that. You gotta stop f**king with my son,” James told Smith.
After all the confrontation, Smith got on air and took a jibe at the four-time MVP. He mentioned that his words were weak and thought it was some bulls**t.
“I thought is was weak, I thought it was some bulls**t. But, in the moment, I knew that I was listening to a father.” Smith said.
“I thought it was weak.” 😳

Former NBA Star Dwayne Wade Supports LeBron James For Confronting Stephen A. Smith
The entire league watched James walk up to Smith at the courtside to exchange words. James looked angry while he spoke out, but it didn’t end well. Following the incident, NBA star Dwayne Wade offered his support to the Lakers star for his confrontation.
Wade said he would have done the same thing if he was in LeBron’s place.
“I would have walked up on him the same way. Emphasizing that family is off-limits when it comes to criticism,” Wade said.

Smith said he wasn’t talking about his son and that James did not approach him in the right manner. He believes that the All-Star should have confronted him behind closed doors.
“Rather than come up to me at courtside, all you had to do was say, Yo, I need to see you after the game. You didn’t do that sh*t, you said you f***ing with my son. No I wasn’t, I was talking about you! It wasn’t about your son.” Smith said.

While some fans disagree with Stephen A. Smith, some think it’s just a part of his job. Smith has done this before, and some players have ignored his comments. However, as a father, James had the right to confront Smith.
