Tari Eason’s mom, Teroya, expressed frustration after a user in X proposed a trade involving her son, his Houston Rockets teammates, Pheonix Suns star Kevin Durant, and a 2027 first-round pick.
The trade simulation, posted by the page “Suns Are Better,” argued that Durant would have a better chance of winning with Houston, currently third in the West at 16-8, compared to the Suns, who sit tenth at 12-11.
However, Teroya completely disagrees with this scenario. On her X/Twitter account, she satirically responded to the user’s idea.
“This may be the best opportunity to start rehab, because whatever you’re on is dangerous!” Teroya posted.

Teroya’s commenters seemingly agree with her. They felt the idea was too unrealistic, given the players involved. The Rockets are also content with their roster, and adding someone like Durant could drastically change their dynamic, affecting their following games.
KD averages 25.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in 13 games. He is out on the court for a while due to a sprained left ankle.
Tari Eason averages 11.3 points and 6.5 rebounds. The Rockets cleared him to play after gaining a concussion that made him miss two games.
Sengun, mentioned in the proposal, averages 18.5 points and 10.6 rebounds. He is questionable to play due to left knee soreness.
The Rockets are yet to face Durant and the Suns. They’ll have their first match against each other next year on February 15.
Tari Eason furious after seeing jersey from college rival team
Tari Eason sends a message to the Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball team after sternly dealing with their jersey during his practice with the Houston Rockets. In his Instagram story, Eason took the jersey, threw and stomped it before disposing it in a trash bin.
Eason, a former LSU Tiger, captioned in his story: “I walk in the locker room this morning and I see people are on straight BS!! Forever LSU,” along with another one with a middle finger and the words “bama.”
The Tigers and the Crimson Tide are known to be staunch rivals in the Southeastern Conference. Still a fierce supporter of his alma mater, Tari Eason never stopped ridiculing his former foes.
Throughout his stint with LSU, Eason averaged 16.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.9 steals. He became the SEC’s Sixth Man of the Year and First-Team All-SEC before getting drafted by the Rockets in 2022.
Tari Eason and the Rockets will face the Golden State Warriors today, vying to advance to the semifinals of the NBA Cup.
