Olivia Miles is transferring to the TCU Horned Frogs. Before forgoing the draft and entering the transfer portal, she was widely projected to be the No. 2 pick in this year’s WNBA draft.
Miles announces her commitment to TCU during Inside the NBA on TNT with Candace Parker and Shaquille O’Neal. She averaged 15.4 PTS, 5.6 REB, and 5.4 AST last year at Notre Dame.
Olivia Made the Right Choice to Join TCU
Miles’s decision to enroll at TCU is a prudent one, particularly in light of the success experienced by Hailey Van Lith during her time there. Additionally, TCU is currently generating positive attention as it attracts high-quality transfers, enabling head coach Mark Campbell to replenish the team’s talent effect.
Olivia will serve as the central player on the team, and the structure of the team will be developed around her strengths. Furthermore, there will be reduced pressure and expectations on her, as the level of competition, aside from a select few teams, is expected to be less formidable.
What TCU’s Roster Will Look Like for Next Season
This acquisition represents a significant addition for the Horned Frogs as they prepare for the upcoming season. Miles’ decision to commit to TCU for her final year is particularly noteworthy, as this institution was responsible for eliminating Notre Dame from the tournament.
