Simone Biles can do incredible things most other human beings can’t. For Phoenix Suns forward and Team USA star Kevin Durant, he believes that Biles can also throw it down.
“I really believe Goat Biles can catch a lob and finish. #bounce,” Durant shared on X (formerly Twitter).
Biles was competing in the women’s gymnastics all-around in the 2024 Paris Olympics on Thursday when Durant made that comment. He can’t also be the only one thinking about whether the 4-foot-8 Biles can dunk a ball, considering her explosive athleticism and ability to reach incredible heights while doing her routines.
In any case, there is no denying that Biles is not just one of the greatest Team USA athletes but among the best ever. She already has two golds in Paris to raise her all-time total in the Olympics to six gold medals. Overall, she has nine Olympic medals, including a silver and two bronzes, as of this writing.
Durant has a shiny collection of Olympic gold medals as well. He can have four golds in the quadrennial sporting event if his Team USA wins in Paris.
Durant, the all-time leading scorer in USA Basketball in the Olympics, will look to help Team USA finish group play unscathed, as they face off against Puerto Rico this coming Saturday. They have already defeated Nikola Jokic and Serbia and Luol Deng’s South Sudan.
