Germany gave Team USA a real test on Monday in their exhibition contest ahead of the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, however, had no intention of letting the national team suffer a defeat in their final tune-up game.
The 20-time All-Star was the star of the show on Monday as he scored 11 of his 20 points in the final frame to lift Team USA to a 92-88 victory against a determined German side.
Team USA News: LeBron James’ Immediate Reaction to Win vs. Germany

As he was making his way to the locker room immediately after the final buzzer, LeBron was clearly excited about the win.
“I love the competition,” he exclaimed.
He then went on to drop some sage advice for his team — one that appears to have been directly to himself as well.
“Just seize the opportunity in the moment,” James said. “Stay in the moment. That’s all it’s about. Stay in the moment.”

James is obviously no spring chicken and this is going to be his last run in the Olympics. This is why he wants to do everything he can to not only help his team achieve its objective of winning a gold medal in Paris but also, to enjoy every second of this incredible experience.
It goes without saying, however, that it’s only enjoyable when they’re winning, which has been the case for LeBron and Co. in their five tune-up games.
Now, the real work begins.
