Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James stole headlines on Monday after his clutch heroics for Team USA. The NBA’s all-time leading scorer turned it on down the stretch as he led the Americans to a 92-86 victory over Germany in a high-profile tune-up game ahead of the Paris Olympics.
LeBron’s strong performance drew all sorts of reactions on X, formerly Twitter, including one from Memphis Grizzlies All-Star Ja Morant.
Team USA: Ja Morant Reacts to LeBron’s Huge Game
LeBron didn’t exactly turn in a stat-stuffing performance in this one. In fact, the Lakers talisman logged just 18 minutes against Germany to finish with 20 points, six rebounds, and four assists.
James, however, scored 11 points in the fourth quarter to ensure that Team USA was not going to suffer a loss at the hands of the Germans.
Morant took to X to share his reaction to yet another massive performance by LeBron,

James has consistently been Team USA’s hero during their build-up to the Olympics. On Saturday against South Sudan, LeBron scored the game-winning basket in what turned out to be a too-close-for-comfort 101-100 victory against the African side.
Saturday’s exhibition contest was Team USA’s final tune-up game before they head to France for the Olympic tournament. Based on what we’ve seen from LeBron over the past few games, there’s no denying that the Americans will need him to keep his foot on the gas as they go for gold in Paris.
