The Minnesota Timberwolves are currently 31-25 on the season, good enough for seventh currently in the Western Conference. They’re 6-4 in their last ten games and currently sit 14.5 games out of the top seed in the conference. The seed that Minnesota almost clinched one year ago.
This season, however, has gone a bit different.

While he was called for five fouls altogether, Gobert stated that the calls were quite inconsistent. He opined that while he got called for pushing an athlete, the exact same foul went unnoticed sometime later. And this did not sit well with Gobert.Lashing out at the calls, Gobert vented out his frustrations saying it was okay to make a couple of mistakes. However, when mistakes are recurring, then it becomes a problem.
“When it’s not consistent, that’s when I get mad,” Gobert said. “When I get called for a push-off, and then I see Bobby Portis is pushing off a couple minutes later and it doesn’t get called, it doesn’t make any sense. That’s all we ask. Consistency.”
