It’s been an open secret that the Utah Jazz are shopping Jordan Clarkson, but there have been no takers for the former NBA Sixth Man of the Year if recent reports are to be believed.

According to Andy Larsen of the Salt Lake Tribune, the 32-year-old combo guard, coming off an up-and-down 2023-24 season, has received zero interest in the trade market.
“Clarkson, meanwhile, needs a bounceback season after really struggling with his efficiency last year. As of now, there haven’t been any other interested NBA teams in trading for his services,” Larsen wrote.

Jordan Clarkson played 55 regular season games in 2023-24, averaging 17.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 5.0 assists on 41.3 percent shooting from the field and a woeful 29.4 percent from three-point range. His campaign was marred by thigh, groin, and back injuries.
The 10-year veteran has two years remaining on his contract and will earn $14.1 million next season. He will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2026 when he turns 34.
Jordan Clarkson is not the only Utah Jazz veteran on the trade market. Lauri Markkanen has been the subject of trade chatter throughout this offseason, and, unlike Clarkson, many teams are interested in acquiring the Finnish international.
Utah Jazz are stacked with guards
If Jordan Clarkson isn’t dealt this offseason, he will likely play off the bench again next season behind Collin Sexton and Keyonte George. Isaiah Collier and Johnny Juzang will also fight for minutes in the backcourt.

The Utah Jazz missed the postseason yet again last season, as they finished with a 31-51 record, good for 12th in the Western Conference.
Utah Jazz boss Danny Ainge said earlier this summer that he is searching for a star to turn the club’s fortunes around soon.
