Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler was one of the team’s brightest spots in their 118-109 loss against the Toronto Raptors last night.

The 23-year-old center had 18 points, 25 rebounds, and eight blocks on 8-for-11 shooting from the field in 33 minutes. Kessler is only the sixth player in NBA history to record at least 15 points, 25 rebounds, and eight blocks in a single game, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Elvin Hayes, Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaquille O’Neal, and Dikembe Mutombo.
Furthermore, Kessler is the first player since Moses Malone in 1983 to collect at least 13 offensive rebounds and eight blocks in a game, per Brett Usher on X (formerly known as Twitter).

With their fourth consecutive defeat, the Utah Jazz remain the worst team in the Western Conference with a 15-48 record.
Utah Jazz have three more matches in their five-game road trip
It will not get easier for the Utah Jazz, as they will face the Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics, and Memphis Grizzlies in their next three road games.

John Collins (back), Lauri Markkanen (back), and Jordan Clarkson (foot) were out against the Toronto Raptors, and they’re questionable to play against Philadelphia this Sunday.
If the veteran trio remains sidelined, Walker Kessler, Kyle Filipowski, Isaiah Collier, Keyonte George, Johnny Juzang, and Brice Sensabaugh will continue to receive more playing time.
