The Indiana Fever did not go deep in the 2024 WNBA playoffs, but they can call their last season a success. With Caitlin Clark leading the way, the Fever made the postseason for the first time since 2016. They also won 20 games after not collecting more than 17 in each of the previous seven campaigns. In other words, Clark was a game-changer for the Fever, and that’s an understatement even.
That being said, the Fever can’t just rely entirely on Clark. The WNBA offseason provides an opportunity for Indiana to get Clark’s supporting cast a big boost via a trade or free agency. Enter Dallas Wings star Satou Sabally, who just said via a recent TikTok video that she will become a free agent.

“Yesterday, my sister [Nyara Sabally] won the WNBA championship… so it’s a lot of movement for me this offseason… [with] the decision to change teams. Yeah, so I’ll be a free agent this year, and I just feel like this is super exciting.
Can the Indiana Fever find a way to sign Satou Sabally?
Although Satou did not say which team she intends to join, she dropped a hint by liking comments from the fans who suggested that she should join Clark’s Fever.

Satou would be an awesome get for the Fever if they manage to land her in free agency. She would give Indiana an additional perimeter threat and playmaker that can open things up for Clark, who is already a dangerous floor-stretcher.
Satou is a two-time All-Star with career averages in the WNBA of 15.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.6 assists while posting a 33.6 percent shooting from behind the arc. Last season, she made 45.2 percent of her threes on 5.6 attempts per outing.
