While watching Wednesday’s regular-season game between the Chicago Bulls and the Orlando Magic, Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese received a unique present. Reese attended the Bulls game tonight and sat courtside, to support the city she plays for.

Reese just finished second in the WNBA Rookie of the Year contest after an outstanding rookie campaign. The forward also made history by setting a new double-double record in the league. The star broke Candace Parker’s double-double record of 12 straight double-doubles. The rookie finished her first season with 15 straight double-doubles.

The Chicago star, who watched the game from courtside, was approached by Benny the Bull, the Bulls’ team mascot. The customized jersey, which had Reese’s name and No. 5 jersey number on the back, was shown by the mascot.

Reese has a lot of time on her hands with the WNBA offseason underway. Soon, the former LSU standout will return to the court. The next time fans will see her in action won’t be in the WNBA, though. The Sky forward signed to join the Unrivaled League, a 3v3 basketball league composed of some of the best women’s basketball stars. The Sky forward talked about her decision to play for the new basketball league in August.

“Being able to be in Miami from January to March, not having to go overseas,” Reese said. “Nobody wants to go overseas. A lot of us never wanna have to go overseas, but some people do have to go overseas unfortunately, so being able to make six figures within three months, being able to be housed in Miami, just being able to get better.”

The Unrivaled League will start its inaugural season in January 2025 and will take place in Miami, Florida.

Angel Reese adds Beats by Dre to her list of endorsments

Sky rookie Angel Reese secured a spot as one of the athletic endorsers of Beats by Dre. The brand’s most recent ad features some of the most well-known athletes in the world. The athletes featured in the new advertisement are LeBron James, Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, Shohei Ohtani, Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka, Daniel Ricciardo, Shedeur Sanders, Sha’Carri Richardson and Miho Nonaka

The new ad also featured Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James. Reese handled the narration for the ad and was posted by the brand on X.

Reese keeps on adding endorsement deals from various brands. Since getting drafted in the WNBA, the athlete has secured contracts from brands like Amazon, PlayStation, Airbnb, Panini America, Hershey’s, Goldman Sachs and now Beats by Dre.
