Chicago Sky’s forward Angel Reese is making WNBA history with her 14th consecutive double-double game. She is the first rookie is WNBA history, she has passed Candace Parker for the longest double-double streak. It came down to 6.4 seconds left in the fourth quarter that not only sealed the win for the Chicago Sky over the Atlanta Dream Wednesday but Reese’s 14th double-double.
Next on Reese’s agenda is to ensure she is still a candidate for the Rookie of the Year Award. She is also the first rookie to have received WNBA Player of the Week Honor in the Eastern Conference. She joins MVP’s A’Ja Wilson who is WNBA Player of the Week Honor in the Western Conference.
While making WNBA history for her 14th double-double, Reese is averaging 16.8 points, 14 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. Reese continues to play at a high level helping the Sky to win games. The Chicago Sky are currently 9-12 and 5-5 in their last 10 games.

Angel Reese is also making history by being part of the WNBA All-Star roster. She will join rookie Catlin Clark on the team. The two rookie’s will play together for the first time. Reese joined ESPN’s NBA Today to discuss her feelings on playing with Clark later in the month. She said ” It’s going to be really cool, I know so many fans are going to come out to watch both of us.”
Angel Reese Still Planning on Going to 2024 Paris Olympic Games
Despite not making the Olympic Roster The Chi-Barbie is still going to the 2024 Paris Olympics to cheer on Team USA but her goal is to make the Olympic Team in 2028. The double-double machine will have to wait to make her debut for the Olympics in the future.
She said in an interview “I take pride in everything – being able to be from the United States and being able to wear those three letters across your chest”
Angel Reese current streak is at 14 for a double-double consecutive game can she make it 15th straight games when the Chicago Sky take on the New York Liberty on Thursday night.
