Apart from making this year’s WNBA Rookie of the Year race against Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark more interesting, Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has launched her own line of Reebok sneakers. This led basketball fans to get hyped over the announcement on social media.

The Chicago Sky rookie has collaborated with Reebok to launch her first footwear and apparel collection, “Reebok by Angel.” The capsule features a range of performance and lifestyle products, including three sneaker styles – the Premier Road VI, BB 4000 II, and Classic Leather – in a color palette of Always Blue and Silver Chrome.

The collection also includes apparel pieces like the Angel Graphic Tee, Angel Vector Track Jacket, and Angel Lux Bodysuit. The rookie worked closely with Reebok throughout the design process, incorporating her feminine style and personal mantra, “When they sleep on you…tuck them in!”

The collaboration comes as Reese has become a breakout star in the WNBA, making her first All-Star team as a rookie and becoming the first rookie to record a double-double. Reebok sees the Chicago rookie as the perfect face for the brand, citing her ability to connect with fans beyond just basketball.
