WNBA news: According to Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark, there is no better 1-on-1 player in the WNBA than Arike Ogunbowale. The Dallas Wings guard lived up to this lofty title during the WNBA All-Star Game as she led her squad to an eye-opening 117-109 win against Team USA after exploding for a record-breaking 34 points.
Ogunbowale has heard the high praise from the All-Star teammate, and the 27-year-old has now decided to return the favor.
WNBA News: Arike Ogunbowale Gives Caitlin Clark Her Flowers

When asked to share her thoughts on Clark’s comments, Ogunbowale revealed that the Fever rookie also happens to be one of her favorite players in the entire WNBA. Apparently, the Dallas star has been following Clark’s career since the latter was still with the Iowa Hawkeyes.
“I’ve been a fan of her since she’s been in college,” Ogunbowale said. “… She knows how to get a bucket. She can create for herself. She can create for her teammates. I just love her game. … She’s one of my favorite players in the league as well.”

Game definitely recognize game.

It’s going to be back to business for Clark, Ogunbowale, and the rest of the WNBA once the Olympic break ends. Despite the fact that Clark and Ogunbowale hold each other in high regard, you can be sure that all the pleasantries will be set aside the next time they meet each other on the basketball court.
