Memphis Grizzlies’ Yuki Kawamura seems to be building a large fanbase. Kawamura has a two-way contract as he plays for the Memphis Hustle in the NBA G league. He also plays for the Japanese national team, and he undoubtedly has a large fanbase. However, Kawamura has a special fan who loves to support him.
Ja Morant’s daughter Kaari has been a strong supporter of Kawamura and his team. In his recent game against the Salt Lake City Stars, Kawamura received huge support from Kaari, who attended the game with her grandfather, Tee Morant.
Yuki Kawamura suffered a loss against the Salt Lake City Stars with a final score of 121-119. The point guard recorded 15 assists and tossed in 16 points after going six for 13 with his shooting attempts. It was a disappointing loss for the team and a huge disappointment for Kawamura to lose in front of Kaari.

The star appreciates the presence of Ja Morant’s daughter as he calls her the Greatest Of All Time.
“I love it. She brings the energy every G League game and NBA game. We couldn’t win for her tonight. I was disappointed in the result. She’s my goat. (Kaari) is my goat,” Kawamura said.
Yuki Kawamura Becomes The Shortest Player In NBA History
The league is filled with tall players but Kawamura has a unique presence. The Japanese stat became the shortest player in NBA history. Standing at only five feet and eight inches, Kawamura says he focuses on three pointers.

Kawamura also became the fourth Japanese player to play in the NBA. It’s a dream come true for the 23-year-old as he gets to play alongside top NBA stars. When asked about his call for the big leagues, Kawamura said he was in disbelief.
“I simply could not believe it. Ever since I was little, I watched the NBA through videos, players like Michael Jordan. The fact that I was on the same court, sitting on that bench, was unbelievable,” Yuki Kawamura said.
Kawamura has set high standards for the NBA.
“When I hear those cheers, I feel both great gratitude and the wish to live up to the expectations that the fans have for me, and I feel that every day. I’d like to become a player who can receive calls like ‘we want Yuki’ during the important moments of the game,” Kawamura continued.

The Grizzlies point guard has already crossed a huge milestone, and he has a bright future ahead in the league.
