Best Waiver Wire adds Fantasy Managers can make for Week 21 based on Yahoo Fantasy Scoring and Roster percentages.
Ayo Dosunmo, SG/SF, 64% Rostered
Fantasy Managers have to love Ayo’s upside, with Coby White now sidelined due to a mild hip sprain. In his last game, he scored 34 points with nine assists, shooting four of seven from deep. Since the All-Star break, Dosunmo has averaged 15.7 points per game, six assists, and a steal while shooting 45% from the field while playing 38 minutes per night.
Jeremy Sochan, PG/PF, 58% Rostered

— Brett Usher (@UsherNBA) March 17, 2024
So far this month, Sochan has averaged 13.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.3 blocks, and nearly a steal each night while shooting 45% from the field. Jeremy Sochan can provide for fantasy managers in many categories, but with his scoring going up, he could become a great streaming option, as he’s put up 19 or more points in three of his last five games.
Amen Thompson, PG/SG/SF, 52% Rostered

— Houston Rockets (@HoustonRockets) March 17, 2024
Rocket’s rookie, Amen Thompson, twin brother of Pistons rookie Ausar Thompson, may begin to see an increased role down the stretch of the NBA season. Amen Thompson has started the last three games for Houston, having a 20-point double-double against Washington and 18 points against Cleveland. When Thompson gets increased minutes and opportunities, he consistently averages a double-double with 13.2 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and an impressive 1.7 steals per game on an efficient 63% shooting from the field in games he has started.
Vasilije Micic, PG, 42% Rostered

— Oh No He Didn't (@ohnohedidnt24) March 16, 2024
Vasilije Micic has taken over as the starting point guard for the Hornets, making him a clear-cut top Fantasy add. In Micic’s eight starts, he’s averaging 15.9 points, 5.6 assists, nearly 3 rebounds, and a steal each game while shooting 50% from the field.
Dalano Banton, PG/SG, 42% Rostered
Dalano Banton’s hot play continued for Portland last night.

The 24-year-old guard, in his last seven starts with the Trailblazers, has averaged over 20 points per game, five rebounds, four assists with nearly a steal and block each while shooting 40% from three on over seven attempts from beyond the arc. The 6’9 guard has had some strong performances of late, finishing with 30 points, eight rebounds, five assists against Houston, and a 28-point night in his most recent game.
Simone Fontecchio, SF, 23% Rostered

— Jack Kelly (@jack_kelly_313) March 16, 2024
Since being traded to the Detroit Pistons, Fontecchio has averaged over 15 points per game, along with 4.4 rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Fontecchio has shot 48% from the field and 44% from three on six attempts per game, scoring over 10 points in 13 of his 16 games with the Pistons.
Jock Landale, C, 16% Rostered

— ClutchFans (@clutchfans) March 13, 2024
Alperen Sengun is likely done for the season with a bad knee injury, leaving Landale as the closest thing to a true NBA-caliber center still on the roster. Fantasy managers should note that Jabari Smith started at center for the first game after Sengun’s absence, but Landale is an actual center and is needed on the court. He played 26 minutes in their first game without Sengun, posting 11 points, four rebounds, five assists, two steals, a block, and a 3.
Taylor Hendricks, PF, 11% Rostered

— Jazz Nation (@JazzNationCP) March 17, 2024
Taylor Hendricks has gotten eight straight starts when healthy since coming out of the All-Star break and may receive an increased role as players like Walker Kessler and Lauri Markannen potentially resting multiple games as Utah closes out a disappointing season. In his last match, Hendricks posted his first-ever double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, along with one assist, steal, and block each.
Toumani Camara, PF, 5% Rostered

— NBA TV (@NBATV) March 16, 2024
Toumani Camara could have great potential for fantasy managers in deeper leagues as his role has increased over the season, and he is now getting nearly 30 minutes per game. Camara feels like a more reliable option, with Jerami Grant missing five of the last seven games due to a “hamstring” issue. Camara will never be a big scorer like Banton, but he’s a good rebounder and solid defender, having three steals against the Knicks and three blocks the next night against the Pelicans.
Jontay Porter, PF/C, 3% Rostered

The Raptors are dealing with multiple injuries as Scottie Barnes, Jakob Poeltl, and now Chris Boucher are all potentially missing the rest of the season for fantasy managers, giving Michael Porter Jr.’s younger brother Jontay Porter an increased role. In his last four games, Porter has averaged 23 minutes per night, putting up seven points, nearly five rebounds, and five assists each, but the actual value is on the defensive end. In games he has played over 20 minutes, Porter has averaged 1.7 steals and 1.7 blocks per game.
