Houston Rockets star Jalen Green completely went off on Tuesday night against the Washington Wizards. The former No. 2 overall pick got red-hot from the get-go, finishing with 19 points in the opening quarter. He would not take his foot off the gas, en route to a career-high 42-point eruption in Houston’s, 137-114 blowout win in Washington.
Needless to say, it was a night to remember for the 22-year-old.
Houston Rockets Star Jalen Green Makes History vs. Wizards
Green had easily the best game of his young career in this one. He amassed 42 points on 12-of-21 shooting, to go along with seven triples, 10 rebounds, three assists, a steal, a block, and just one turnover in 36 minutes of action.
According to StatMuse, Green has now entered LeBron James and Luka Doncic territory with his amazing performance on Tuesday night:

That’s quite the company. Green also happens to be the youngest among the bunch to have reached these insane heights.
It is also worth noting that Green cooked the Wizards on Thursday for 37 points to lead the Rockets to a 135-119 victory. At this point, it’s safe to say that this young man loves playing against Washington.
Thanks to Green’s heroics, Houston has now logged six straight wins. They are now 33-35 and are just 2.5 games behind the Golden State Warriors for the 10th and final Play-In spot in the Western Conference. If Green and Co. keep this up, they might just get a chance to make their first postseason appearance since the James Harden era.
