New Orleans Pelicans fans are fed up with head coach Willie Green following their exit in the first round of the playoffs Monday night. The first-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder team swept the shorthanded eighth-seeded Pelicans.

OKC has been one of the league’s best teams all season. One wouldn’t have thought the Pelicans had a chance to upset the Thunder in the series, especially given they were without Zion Williamson after he suffered an injury in the play-in game against the Los Angeles Lakers. But the Pelicans were even completive in the series.

Green has compiled a 127-119 record in the regular season during his three seasons in New Orleans. He’s just 2-8 in the playoffs. His only two wins with the team coming for the 2021-22 season. Many fans think the Pelicans would do better with a new coach next season.
