The Denver Nuggets are just a win away from completing yet another sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers in the playoffs. Denver defeated the Lakers three times in the regular season and it continues to be the same story for the two Western Conference rivals.
While the Lakers struggle to find the right formula to beat Denver, Nuggets star big man Nikola Jokic is already feeling bored of seeing Purple & Gold colors on the floor over and over again in the first round.

“To be honest, I think every game is tougher and tougher,” Jokic said. “… I think it’s really hard to play against the same team over and over again. You kind of get bored with the style of the play or whatever. So you just need to trust what we are doing and don’t get bored with success. Because it can (go) wrong really quick.”
Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets Aiming to Sweep the Lakers
Beating the Lakers isn’t as easy as the series standing suggests, though, for the Nuggets. Denver had to battle back from big deficits in order to overcome the Lakers in the first three games of the series. The key for the Nuggets has been their poise and just great shot-making when it matters the most for them. Just take for example the game-winning shot Jamal Murray hit at the buzzer back in Game 2.
So far in the series against the Lakers, the Nuggets are putting up 109.0 points per game on a 48.3 percent success rate on shots taken from the floor. At the same time, the Lakers are scoring just 102.3 points on a 38.7 field goal percentage.
No team has ever come back to win a series after being down 3-0 in a best-of-seven series.
