Best Waiver Wire adds Fantasy Managers can make for Week 20 based on Yahoo Fantasy Scoring and Roster percentages.
Naz Reid, PF/C, Minnesota Timberwolves, 71% rostered
With Karl-Anthony Towns expected to miss the rest of the regular season with a meniscus injury, Naz Reid got his first start for the Timberwolves this season, scoring 25 points and hitting five 3-pointers in a loss on Sunday night against the Lakers. On Thursday, Reid posted 13 points, eight rebounds, two assists with a steal, a block, and a 3-pointer in 26 minutes and followed that up on Friday, Reid had a career game with 34 points in a overtime loss to Cleveland.
Caris Levert, SG/SF, Cleveland Cavaliers, 49% Rostered

— Cleveland Cavaliers (@cavs) March 10, 2024
Since the All-Star break, Caris Levert has averaged 11 points, seven assists, and five rebounds per game. Levert has added a lot of value in the past five games on the defensive end, averaging 2.2 steals and a block per game. Levert is known to be a scorer but has had two double-doubles showing flashes in other categories that could benefit fantasy managers. Against Washington, Levert had a near triple-double with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists. Against the Bulls, Levert showed his playmaking abilities as well with 15 assists and 14 points.
Kyle Anderson, SF/PF, Minnesota Timberwolves, 34% Rostered

— Timberwolves Clips (@WolvesClips) March 5, 2024
Following Karl-Anthony Towns’ injury, most fantasy managers rushed to add Naz Reid, but Kyle Anderson will also receive an increase in his role and minutes. Kyle Anderson got the start on Thursday over Naz Reid but both should be able to provide value to fantasy managers, especially those who can handle Anderson’s low scoring totals. Anderson was a late scratch for Sunday night’s game with a shoulder injury, but fantasy managers shouldn’t be too worried as Rudy Gobert also sat out against the Lakers.
Dalano Banton, PG/SG, Portland Trail Blazers, 24% Rostered
Dalano Banton has so much game. The skill level at 6'9 is crazy and reminds me of Shaun Livingston. He gets downhill, hits shots from everywhere and great vision 🇨🇦 Rexdale's own. Toronto does it again. pic.twitter.com/iyyQuYHH3G
— Ball Don't Stop (@balldontstop) March 10, 2024
The 24-year-old guard, in his last four starts with the Trailblazers, has averaged 21.5 points 6.8, rebounds 4.5 assists while shooting 40% from three on over seven attempts from beyond the arc. The 6’9 guard finished with 30 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. He also used his length to his advantage, securing a steal and a block against Houston. The next day against Toronto, Banton finished with 25 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. The major question is whether this year’s third-overall pick, Scoot Henderson, can play well enough and stay healthy to reclaim his role as the lead guard or if Banton will finish the season for the Trail Blazers. Toumani Camara(PF, 5% rostered) could have great potential for fantasy managers in deeper leagues. In his last ten games for Portland, Camara has averaged over 10 points, six rebounds, and one assist, with nearly a steal or a block each game.
Simone Fontecchio, SF, Detroit Pistons, 23% Rostered
Simone Fontecchio against Dallas:
27 PTS | 4 REB | 1 STL | 1 BLK
Tek dropped a career-high in points, including a 13-point first quarter. He continues to be an absolute deadline steal. Super happy to have him in Detroit. pic.twitter.com/bGVySRtXEU
— Jack Kelly (@jack_kelly_313) March 11, 2024
Since joining the Pistons, Fontecchio has averaged 15 points per game, along with nearly 4 rebounds, two assists, and one steal, while shooting 48% from the field and 43% from three on six attempts per game. In his most recent match, on Saturday, March 9th, against the Dallas Mavericks, Fontecchio had a career-high 27 points, shooting 9 of 13 from the field and four of five from deep.
Jake LaRavia, SF/PF, Memphis Grizzlies, 17% Rostered

— eric (@EricTweetsNBA) March 10, 2024
Jake LaRavia will see increased minutes as Memphis crawls toward the end of this injury-riddled season and could provide for fantasy managers if he breaks out in the final stretch. In his last four games, the 19th overall pick from the 2022 draft has averaged 15 points, 6.8 rebounds, and over two assists, with nearly two steals and a block each night. The Wake Forest product has gotten two double-doubles in March so far and got his first career NBA start this Sunday. Santi Aldama (PF/C, 36% Rostered) is another good option, averaging 11.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.4 blocks on the defensive end since the All-Star break.
Richaun Holmes, PF/C, Washington Wizards, 16% Rostered

— Washington Wizards (@WashWizards) March 7, 2024
It was announced on Friday that Marvin Bagley is dealing with a lower back strain that flared up against the Utah Jazz on Monday and will be evaluated in one week. Bagley will miss at least three games before being reevaluated, leaving the Wizards with few options in the center position. The Wizards have even tried Kuzma at some minutes in the center spot, even though he is severely undersized for that role. This leaves Richaun Holmes as the only viable option. Against Orlando, Richaun scored 12 points, grabbing five rebounds and two steals, and followed this performance with a start on Friday night against the Charlotte Hornets, in which Holmes got a double-double with 14 points, 11 boards, along with one steal, block, and assist each. Richaun Holme sat out Sunday’s game against the Miami Heat due to a toe injury, but this seems unlikely to be a long-term issue.
Chris Boucher, PF, Toronto Raptors, 5% Rostered

— NBA Canada (@NBACanada) March 10, 2024
In Boucher’s six games, which he played for over 20 minutes this season, he averaged 10.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting efficiently from the floor. In his last two games, Chris Boucher has taken advantage of an expanded role with Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl potentially missing the rest of the season for fantasy managers. Boucher, against Phoenix, had a near-double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds, followed by a 16-point, eight rebounds, and three-block performance against Portland on Saturday.
