The Golden State Warriors moved up one spot in the standings out West after Saturday’s 128-121 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Warriors are now ninth in the conference after their big win over LeBron James and Co., who have now fallen to the 10th and final Play-In spot in the West.
This was thanks to another wonderful performance by Stephen Curry, who dropped a team-high 31 points to lift the Dubs over their Pacific Division foes.
Golden State Warriors Star Stephen Curry Goes Full Savage on D’Angelo Russell
LeBron James did all he could for the Lakers, logging 40 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists in the loss. There were multiple instances wherein LeBron and Curry went toe-to-toe on the court on Saturday, and one of them prompted a savage exchange between Steph and Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell.
At one point in the game, James found himself posted up against Curry in front of the Lakers bench. Apparently, Steph may have taken exception to Russell telling LeBron to “go at [Curry’s] a**”:
LEAKED Audio Of Steph Curry Trash Talking D’Angelo Russell👀:
Curry: “Come on, come on!”
DLo: “Hell no, go at his a**!”
Then, after Curry hit a three, he told DLo: “Get your b*tch a** on the court”
Lastly, Curry asked: “who you’re talking to?” after Klay & DLo exchanged words pic.twitter.com/bFtD0joeT3

Later in the game, after draining a contested 3-pointer over Lakers forward Rui Hachimura, Curry jogged back to the opposite side of the floor. As he passed the Lakers bench, he told Russell to “get your b*tch a** on the court.”
Steph wasn’t done either. Apparently, he also had some words for Russell as the latter was involved in a heated conversation with Warriors star Klay Thompson.
As they always say, it’s never a good idea to talk smack to the greatest shooter of all time. More often than not, he makes his opponents pay for committing this mistake.
