Josh Hart got brutally honest on the situation that Mikal Bridges is experiencing with the Brooklyn Nets compared to what he and their other Villanova teammates have with the New York Knicks.
As the Nets continue to struggle, Hart perfectly but savagely used the perfect meme to emphasize Bridges’ current dilemma.
New York Knicks’ Josh Hart Uses SpongeBob Meme To Troll Mikal Bridges With Brutal Truth

Speaking to reporters after the Knicks took down the Nets on Saturday, 105-93, Hart poked some fun on Bridges and the Nets’ current struggles.
Hart and Bridges are good friends, having been teammates in Villanova along with Jalen Brunson and Donte DiVincenzo who are now both on the Knicks as well. While New York is thriving, however, Brooklyn is on its way to a disappointing and playoffs-less campaign.
Because of the contrasting situations they are in, Hart compared Bridges to the popular SpongeBob meme featuring Squidward looking from the windows of his house while SpongeBob and Patrick the Star are outside playing.
“It’s like that SpongeBob meme when Squidward is looking out the window and he sees SpongeBob and Patrick having fun,” Hart shared, per Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News.

While it’s quite the vicious comparison, Hart is not wrong with his assessment. The Knicks are playoff-bound and even in the running for a Top 3 seed in the East. Meanwhile, the Nets are outside the Play-In picture at no. 11 with a 26-45 record.
At this point, with just 11 games left on the season, it looks impossible for the Nets to even qualify for the Play-In unless they go on an insane winning streak while the other contenders lose.
New York Knicks Show Mikal Bridges, Brooklyn Nets Their Talent Gap

Josh Hart and the New York Knicks certainly made sure to show their massive difference compared to the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
Even with Jalen Brunson not playing his best game after scoring just 17 points on 7-of-24 shooting, they were able to take care of business against Mikal Bridges and co.
Donte DiVincenzo led the way with 31 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals, while Miles McBride added 26 points. Hart, for his part, tallied six points, 13 boards, five dimes, one block and one steal.
Bridges, on the Nets side, was one of only three players to score in double digits with 18 points. Cam Thomas top-scored with 19, as no one from Brooklyn even breached the 20-point mark.
Perhaps Hart is trying to recruit Bridges with that SpongeBob reference he slapped him with. Regardless, though, Mikal will likely have to watch his former Villanova teammates in the upcoming playoffs while they take an early vacation this 2023-24 season.
