The NCAA March Madness tournament is right around the corner, but first we have conference tournament play. Several conference tournaments have tipped off, and the Southeastern Conference (SEC) tips off tonight. The Tennessee Volunteers are the favorite to win the tournament at +175, shortly followed by the Auburn Tigers at +240. However, these teams are on the same side of the bracket and will likely face off, making it a tougher road for both. Not only does this dark horse team have an easier road to the championship game, but they have also been playing better as of late… that team is the Kentucky Wildcats.
Kentucky Wildcats Great Value at +400

Kentucky will be heading into conference play winners of their last 5 games fueled by three-headed-monster at the guard position, Antonio Reeves, Rob Dillingham, and Reed Sheppard. Momentum couldn’t be higher, and in that winning streak the Wildcats beat both Tennessee and Alabama, two of the top four seeds in the SEC tournament. John Calipari and the Wildcats will be hungry to win their first conference tournament since their four-peat in 2018.
Neutral Court Factor

One of the biggest determining factors in conference play is that all these games will be played on a neutral site court. Kentucky has a 2-1 record on neutral courts this year with a solid 7-3 record away from home. One of the reasons college teams struggle in these neutral site games, is with getting adjusted to the different arenas and court setups which has translated to a large number of low scoring games. Neutral court totals in conference championship games have a record of 181 – 238 in the last five years, giving the under over ten units of profit.
With Kentucky’s high scoring offense, being able to get buckets on a neutral court will not be an issue for this squad. In those three neutral site games the Wildcats have played in this year, they scored an average of 84 points.
