It’s not just Jimmy Butler whose future with the Miami Heat has been put into question of late. As always, the fate of former Sixth Man of the Year winner Tyler Herro is also in the balance as trade rumors continue to hound the 6-foot-5 shooting guard.

There’s no doubt that Herro has heard all the whispers, and it now appears that he’s fired a cryptic warning to the Heat amid talk of his potential summer exit.

Fans could not help but take notice of Herro’s intriguing Instagram post on Monday. In it, the 24-year-old appears to have issued a warning about his future in South Beach:

For all we know, this could have nothing to do with his basketball career. Perhaps Herro was referring to something else entirely?

Nevertheless, given that he is one of the most popular basketball players on the planet, it’s only natural that fans have speculated that this message has to be about what the immediate future holds for Herro in terms of his tenure with the Heat.

For what it’s worth, Herro is under contract with Miami through 2027, where he is projected to pocket a whopping $93 million over the next three seasons.

As mentioned previously, more than a few fans out there took notice of Herro’s cryptic post. Most of them, however, could not help but clown the former Kentucky standout over all this:
