The Milwaukee Bucks took care of business on Sunday with an impressive 124-117 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard combined for 69 points as the two superstars showcased the full potential of their elite partnership.
Giannis was in a jovial mood after the win, and he just had to make a revelation about which of his teammates he considers an “A-hole” — in the most endearing way possible, of course.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s ‘A-Hole’ Teammate
That dude is Patrick Beverley, who faced off with one of his former teams on Sunday in the Clippers. After the win, Antetokounmpo was asked what it was like having Beverley on his team, and it prompted a hilariously honest response from the former back-to-back NBA MVP:
“He’s one of those guys that — sorry for my language — that you say, ‘He’s an A-hole,'” Giannis said. “But when he plays on your team, you’re like, ‘That’s my a-hole.’ You know? And I love him. Sorry for my language, but we love playing with him. He’s a leader, he knows how to play the game. He’s a winner.
“I’ve been playing against him for a lot of years now. I don’t think I ever liked playing against him. He always comes in and mucks the game. He’s like an instigator. He pushes your buttons, but having (him) on your own team, he makes the game easier for us. I love playing with him.”

Beverley is the type of player you love when he’s on your team, but you absolutely loathe him when he’s not. This was Antetokounmpo’s exact message in his statement above, which is definitely something most folks can get on board with.
Beverley has been quite a revelation for the Bucks since his mid-season arrival, and he could very well be an integral piece for what Milwaukee is hoping will be a long and fruitful postseason run.
