Game 4 of the first-round series between the Philadelphia 76ers and the New York Knicks took place in Philly but it did not exactly feel like a home game for Joel Embiid and company, with Knicks fans taking over Wells Fargo Center.
Philadelphia 76ers Center Joel Embiid Gets NSFW Treatment From Invading Knicks Fans in Philly
Even after the game, Knicks fans continued to desecrate the home of the Sixers by erupting into an NSFW chant targeted at Philadelphia big man Joel Embiid.

Embiid also spoke about seeing a lot of Knicks fans inside the arena in Game 6 when it should have been Sixers supporters filling the seats.
“Disappointing,” Embiid said in the locker room after the game (h/t Josh Peter of USA TODAY) “I love our fans. Think it’s unfortunate, and I’m not calling them out, but it is disappointing. Obviously, you got a lot of Knicks fans, and they’re down the road.”
Embiid and the 76ers can’t get too caught up with talk about fans of both sides. The main focus for him and his team should be on extending Philly’s life in the playoffs. They are just a loss away from packing their bags for another early vacation after the Knicks took Game 3 to the tune of a 97-92 score.
Embiid finished Game 4 with 27 points but shot just 7/19 from the field. He also grabbed 10 boards and dished out six assists in 44 minutes.
Game 5 will be on Tuesday back in New York.
