New York Knicks news: Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller has done everything he can to re-establish himself as Public Enemy No. 1 in The Big Apple. Heading into Wednesday’s Game 2 matchup between the Knicks and the Pacers, the Hall of Fame shooting guard and self-proclaimed “Boogey Man” savagely reminded New York about the fact that he’s “owned this city.”
It was mission accomplished for Miller in terms of lighting a fire under Knicks fans as they treated him to some savagery in his return to Madison Square Garden.
New York Knicks News: Fans Rain Down NSFW Chants for Reggie Miller
Miller, who was a real thorn in the side of the Knicks during his playing days some three decades ago, returned to MSG on Wednesday as part of NBA on TNT’s Game 2 broadcast. During the game, the Knicks fans made their feelings about the former Pacers superstar abundantly clear as they showered him with NSFW chants:

Beng the gentleman that he is, Knicks forward Josh Hart decided to help Miller out. As soon as Hart heard the chants, he decided to approach the announcer’s table to tell Miller exactly what the fans were saying:

I don’t think Miller needed any help understanding the New Yorker’s message for him. Still, Hart thought he would help out the former five-time All-Star in case he needed it.
The good news for Miller is that he’s going to get a significantly warmer welcome in the Gainbridge Fieldhouse arena now that this series is heading to Indiana for Games 3 and 4. After Wednesday’s 130-121 loss, however, they are now down 0-2 in the series.
The Pacers have their backs against the wall as they hope to get a chance to return to New York for Game 5.
