The WNBA Draft is April 15th in New York its going to be an exciting night for Women’s basketball. The Women’s National Championship game was one of the most exciting games to watch. Despite the loss for Iowa’s Caitlin Clark is projected to go Number 1 overall in the draft. Predictions are that the star guard will land with the Indiana Fever. Caitlin Clark has been nothing be spectacular in her college career as a guard. Clark averages over 30 points a game, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. She is considered the GOAT of women’s college basketball.
It is up in the air where all the other top prospects will go following Clark. Sanford’s Forward Cameron Brink at Number 2 is predicted to go to the Los Angeles Sparks and Number 3 Forward Rickea Jackson to Chicago Sky. Finally, at Number 4 South Carolina’s Center Kamilla Cardoso going to Los Angeles Sparks. The Los Angeles Spark have two picks within the top 4 because of a trade. Even though there are only 12 teams in the WNBA the Los Angeles Sparks will have two of the most talented players on their team to start the season. The Sparks will need some talent after coming off a disappointing season 17-23.
