The Connecticut Sun acquire veteran guard Marina Mabrey from the Chicago Sky Wednesday in a trade that includes two players and Connecticut’s 2025 first-round pick headed to Chicago. The Sky also received guards Rachel Banham and Moriah Jefferson from the Sun and the right to swap first-round picks in 2026. Connecticut also acquired Chicago’s 2025 second-round pick in the trade. Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese gets Ejected from game against New York Liberty Tuesday night. Reese initially got called for a personal foul and seconds later made a comment and  hand gesture towards the referee and ended up Ejected from the game late in the 4th quarter. Coach Teresa Weatherspoon said she was not given the cause for Reese’s ejection. This is the first ejection for Reese in her WNBA career. Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese played down the hard foul that Connecticut Sun star Alyssa Thomas committed during the Sky-Sun game on Saturday night. Thomas was assed a flagrant foul 2 on Reese in the third quarter.
