Just recently, the Boston Celtics faced the Cleveland Cavaliers in their own turf and lost. Among those who witnessed this upset were NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce.
Before the two teams faced off, the Celtics had the distinction of being on top of the East while Cleveland was in third place behind the Milwaukee Bucks. Plus, the Cavs were without All-Star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell due to a knee injury.
Surprisingly, it wasn’t Darius Garland who stepped up to lead Cleveland to victory. Dean Wade came off the bench to play 21 minutes and score 23 points, 20 in the fourth quarter, to seal the game for the Cavaliers. Meanwhile, Garland had 16 points and Jarrett Allen added 21 points and 12 rebounds.
The Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum, who had 26 points and 13 rebounds, and Kristaps Porzingis with 24 points and nine rebounds. Jaylen Brown also added 21 points and four assists in the losing effort.
With this win, the Cavaliers now have a 40-21 record, placing them in third place behind the Bucks. The Celtics are still on top of the East with a 48-13 record.
Jason and Travis Kelce’s Reactions To Cleveland Cavaliers Winning Over The Boston Celtics
Among those present in the crowd were Jason and Travis Kelce. After the Celtics’ collapse, the two gave a message hyping the win up in a video Cleveland posted on its X account:

As seen on the video, Travis Kelce is hyped up about the Cavs’ big win over Boston. The Kansas City Chiefs star ended his message by hyping the fans up over the upcoming playoffs.
Fortunately, the Cavaliers are in position of a top seed in the Eastern Conference and are projected to hold it when the postseason starts. By then, the Kelce brothers will have more reason to support the Cleveland in the coming months.
