In a recent podcast appearance, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green went scorched earth on ESPN broadcaster Stephen A. Smith. According to Green, he lost respect for Smith for the fact that the renowned analyst did not stand up for Draymond when the veteran was being heavily criticized throughout the season.
Stephen A. quickly clapped back with his own tirade as this storyline unsurprisingly took a life on its own.

It was during a guesting on Shaq’s The Big Podcast wherein Green expressed his distaste over Smith’s actions. According to the former Defensive Player of the Year, Stephen A. “really pissed me off”:

Smith wasted no time responding to Green’s accusations as the former rejected the idea of having an unfair bias either in favor or against Draymond:

Green hadn’t responded to Smith’s clap-back. That was until Tuesday night when the Warriors star came out to apologize for what he has admitted was a mistake on his end:
“Shaq, I was on your podcast, The Big Podcast, and you just mentioned Stephen A.,” Green said during TNT’s broadcast of Game 4 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Dallas Mavericks. “And I said something that didn’t come out the way I said it so I want to apologize to him. I said that publicly… I was wrong for that. I do apologize.”

I’m pretty sure Smith will be happy to accept this humble apology from Green. This should officially put an end to what turned out to be a short-lived mini-feud.
