Sunday’s contest was pretty forgettable for the Los Angeles Clippers. This is after they suffered a 121-107 loss at the Crypto.com Arena against a Joel Embiid-less Philadelphia 76ers side. This was a crucial loss for LA as they are now just half a game ahead of the surging New Orleans Pelicans for the fourth spot in the Western Conference.
The silver lining for the Clippers, though, is that Paul George made a bit of history on Sunday by moving into 11th for the all-time 3-pointers made in NBA history.

George’s historic achievement came in the third quarter of Sunday’s contest as the nine-time All-Star hit a corner trey for what was his 2,222nd career triple:

As the above tweet indicates, George has now surpassed Jamal Crawford for the 11th spot on this elite list. Next up for the Clippers star is NBA champion Jason Terry, who has 2,282 triples to his name.
George finished Sunday’s loss with 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting, to go along with four triples, three rebounds, an assist, a block, and five turnovers in 34 minutes of action.
Paul George Gets STUFFED by Kelly Oubre Jr.
George’s performance on Sunday was far from perfect, though. In fact, he was also on the wrong end of a massive rejection from Sixers forward Kelly Oubre Jr. in the third quarter of LA’s tough loss.
It looked like PG had an easy deuce as he found himself wide open during a fastbreak play. Little did he know that Oubre had some bad intentions:

That has to be one of the top blocks you’ll ever see this year, and it’s just a shame for George that he was on the wrong end of this highlight reel play.
