Anthony Davis had another huge performance for the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday night, as he led the Purple & Gold to a 150-145 victory at home over the visiting Indiana Pacers. After the game, Lakers shooting guard Austin Reaves gave Davis his flowers, expressing how much he loves playing alongside the versatile big man.
“I just enjoy being his teammate. He makes life so much easier for everybody on the court. His dominance of the game on both ends of the floor,” Reaves said of Davis after the game, per Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet.

Behind Davis’ electric outing, the Lakers managed to repulse Indiana and continue their win streak which is now at three games. Davis muscled out 36 points on 15/21 shooting from the field and collected 167 rebounds along with three assists, two steals, plus a block in 40 minutes.
Three other Lakers players scored at least 20 points against the Pacers’ leaky defense, including Reaves, who came away with 25 points. Reaves shot just 6/13 from the floor but was 11/12 at the foul line. Meanwhile, Spencer Dinwiddie and LeBron James each had 26 points on a combined field goal shooting of 16/30.
The Lakers can’t just relax just yet. They will look to strike while the iron is hot when they meet the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday for the start of a crucial six-game road trip. The 39-32 Lakers are ninth at the moment in the Western Conference standings but are just three games out of the top-six picture.
