The Los Angeles Lakers were without the services of LeBron James on Sunday as they suffered a tough loss at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The four-time NBA champ was a late scratch due to flu-like symptoms.
Anthony Davis, on the other hand, lasted just 12 minutes in the game after being forced to exit due to an eye injury.
The Lakers have now announced the status of their two superstars heading into Tuesday’s marquee showdown against the Golden State Warriors, and both are now at risk of missing this crucial matchup.
Los Angeles Lakers News: LeBron James, Anthony Davis Both Questionable Vs. Warriors
The Lakers have just announced that both LeBron and Davis are officially questionable to play on Tuesday night against Golden State:

While this is not good news for the Lakers, it also isn’t a terrible update in terms of LeBron and Davis’ availability against the Warriors. James, in particular, has been tagged as questionable multiple times in the past few weeks, but he has been able to play through injury.
It is worth noting, however, that his illness is a new issue, which casts some doubt on his status for Tuesday.
The Warriors are currently just 1.5 games behind the Lakers for the ninth seed in the West so this game will be of utmost importance in terms of positioning heading into the Play-In tournament. As such, you would think that only a significant injury would keep both of LA’s superstars out of what is one of the most crucial regular-season games for the Lakers down the stretch.
