As expected, LSU Tigers star Angel Reese has bid farewell to her college career in favor of a move to the WNBA. The 21-year-old officially announced her decision to enter the 2024 WNBA Draft on Wednesday, which naturally, came with an emotional farewell message for LSU.
Reese may have spent just two years with the Tigers, but there’s no denying that her impact on the program has been tremendous.

Shortly after making her official announcement to enter the upcoming WNBA draft, Reese took to Twitter to post a video message. In it, the one-time NCAA champ expressed her gratitude not only to LSU but for all the love and support she’s received throughout her entire basketball career thus far:

What a ride it has been for the Bayou Barbie, and as she said, we’re all excited to see what’s next for this young lady.
Looking to Bigger Things
In her announcement, Reese explained that she’s already achieved all she can in college basketball, which is why she has decided to forgo her fifth and final year. She is now headed to the pros, where the 6-foot-3 forward has already set some lofty goals for herself:
