Jack Gohlke has the attention of the college basketball world after he led the Oakland Golden Grizzlies in a massive upset of the Kentucky Wildcats in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Now, it looks like he’s more than ready to extend his insane March Madness run.
The senior guard from Pewaukee made the rounds on social media again after a viral video showed him pulling off an incredible full-court shot. Not only did it show that his sharpshooting heroics on Thursday was no fluke, but many also see it as a warning for their next opponents.

During Friday’s practice, Gohlke was caught on camera heaving the ball from one side of the court to the other. In a stunning turn of events, the ball hit the back of the rim before swishing beautifully into the net.
For those who missed it, Gohlke was coming off a game against the no. 3 Wildcats where he dropped 30 points while shooting 10 triples. His 3-point output was just one shy of the all-time single-game tournament record of 11, set by Jeff Fryer of LMU back in 1990.
And so to see him pull off a full-court heave just a day after that shooting display and incredible 80-76 win was nothing short of amazing.

Gohlke and Oakland will be facing the NC State Wolfpack in the second round, and it will surely be an interesting battle of the underdogs considering that both teams were seeded low. NC State is the 11th seed and had to take down the sixth-seeded Texas Tech Red Raiders to move on to the next round.

After Jack Gohlke’s latest video went viral, Oakland Golden Grizzlies fans and hoop supporters in general couldn’t help but think what the sharpshooter will do in the Round of 32.
Considering his shooting explosion against the Kentucky Wildcats, many expect Gohlke to do the same against the NC State Wolfpack this Saturday.
On the comment section of the video, fans expressed their high hopes, while others sent a warning to NC State.
“Dude is just on a heater. May it continue into tomorrow,” a fan wrote. Another one said, “That dude Man!!!! Really can’t Wait for Tomorrow vs. That teddy Bear D.J Burns.”
“This next matchup bout to be a fun game to watch,” a commenter added. A fourth Oakland faithful wrote, “This is what NC State nightmares are made of.”
With Gohlke simply cannot miss, NC State indeed better be ready.
