Coming off a pair of wins against the Boston Celtics, the Atlanta Hawks hoped to extend their winning streak against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. But despite their unsuccessful attempt, fans got an awesome moment between the Greek Freak and Bogdan Bogdanovic instead.
In that contest, Milwaukee went home with the 122-113 win over a Hawks team without All-Star guard Trae Young. Antetokounmpo put up a dominant performance by posting 36 points on 54 percent shooting from the field, 16 rebounds, and eight assists. Khris Middleton made 21 points by hitting 90 percent of his shots while Patrick Beverley came up big with 18 points of his own.

Not to be outdone, Bogdanovic lifted Atlanta on his shoulders by dropping 38 points and 10 rebounds in 37 minutes on the court. Meanwhile, Dejounte Murray added a double-double of his own by making 20 points and 12 assists for the Hawks.
The win set Milwaukee apart from third-place Cleveland Cavaliers by cementing their hold on the East’s second spot. They now have 47-27 record with only a few games left in the regular season. The Hawks, on the other hand, are fighting for a place in the Play-In Tournament with a 10th place record of 34 wins and 40 losses.

Throughout 71 games this season, Bogdanovic is averaging 16.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists. Antetokounmpo, on the other hand, is putting up MVP-worthy numbers of 30.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per contest.

Even though the situations of their respective teams are different, this moment between the two players is still an awesome moment to witness. It just goes to show that basketball goes beyond the action on the court for these NBA stars.
